For over twenty-five years, Kirkland Performance Center (KPC) has been a cornerstone of cultural enrichment in the Eastside community, showcasing an array of diverse talent, from GRAMMY and Tony Award winners to local schoolchildren. With the launch of KPC Studios in 2024, we continue to expand our educational programs and community outreach, reinforcing our mission to connect communities through the performing arts. Our programming spans a diverse range of genres and events including: stand-up and improv comedy, live music from all over the world, traditional folk and cultural performances, live-streamed celebrations, religious events, corporate events, community gatherings, fundraisers, and even film festivals! Since its inception in 1998, KPC has welcomed more than 1,900,000 attendees to live programs, showcased over 6,000 performance, and supported over 288,000 young adults and children in youth programs and presentations. 

The Eastside has seen a population boom, growing by 15% in the past decade, underscoring the need for a vibrant cultural hub. KPC has been a steadfast beacon of creativity, adapting and evolving our work to meet the needs of the expanding community. Even in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, KPC remained committed to providing exceptional live performances, cultural events, and arts education—even without a live audience— enhancing the quality of life and mental well-being for countless residents. 

As we look forward to the next twenty-five years, KPC is poised to further ELEVATE our impact. The Elevate KPC Capital Campaign aims to raise $4.6 million to modernize our beloved theater. With $3.5 million already secured through generous donations from the State of Washington, the City of Kirkland, corporate partnerships, and individual donors, we need your help to raise the final $1.1 million!
